The Angels Foundation is proud to be a part of the Winston-Salem community, and we're grateful to all the volunteers that help to make our mission possible. PLUS, we're lovers of the arts and theatre. That's why we built a Tribute Garden on the grounds of the new Theatre Alliance building in the downtown Winston arts district. Be sure to check out the Winston-Salem Journal’s recent highlight of the project.

A Refuge For Volunteers

The Winston-Salem Theatre Alliance is a thriving non-profit theatre focused on a mission to inspire, transform and unite the people of the Triad through a broad range of unique, diverse, and unconventional theatrical experiences. Their productions run the spectrum, ranging from critically acclaimed classics like "The Color Purple" to irreverent musicals like "Nunsense." Regardless of the subject matter, you're sure to be entertained, and perhaps enlightened.
We felt compelled to leverage The Angel Principle towards honor all the hard volunteer work that goes into each production that The Theatre Alliance takes on. The result was a small garden refuge tucked away in a corner of the new facility. Its intimate scale allows visitors to embrace a quiet moment away from the chaos and business of their lives, perhaps to remember and honor their own angels. We hope you enjoy it! It was the least we could do.
